I offer private beginner lessons from my home close to Sheffield city centre. These can be one to one or for a maximum of three people. I will work on a bird alongside you and guide you through each step.

Bird lessons are 320 per person for a 2 day class. The days don't need to be consecutive, and can be arranged on mutually convenient dates.
All materials and refreshments provided and you will have a completed bird by the end of day 2. We will work on jackdaws or crows depending on availability as they are the easiest to work with in beginner hands.

Although I specialise in birds I also offer a mouse class priced at £125. This class will run for approximately 6 hours including breaks, and you will have a finished mouse to take home at the end.

All classes are suitable for those with no experience whatsoever, or if you have had a go yourself but need a little guidance. Following attending a class I am happy to stay in touch and offer ongoing advice and support via email if you decide to continue practicing taxidermy in your own time. Taxidermy is a very involved craft which takes years to master, but the beginner steps I will guide you through will offer a good foundation to continue learning if you choose to do so.
